Pest Control FAQ
Will the spray affect my family?
No, safety is our top priority. All of our products are registered for use by the United States EPA. The application will not affect your family or your pets and will usually dry within 30 minutes and leaves no visible residue or odor.
What do I need to do prior to the Pest Control treatment?
Allowing access to the room’s edges is necessary to spray along baseboards. Therefore pulling light furniture away from the walls and removing any miscellaneous items off the floor would be helpful. All food items should be cleared from table tops.
How often should I have a Pest Control treatment done?
Depending on your particular situation we recommend having regularly scheduled intervals of no more than three months. Shorter or longer periods may be recommended, according to specific situations or business codes.
Are Carpenter Ants dangerous to my home?
Carpenter ants are a definite nuisance and if not addressed quickly, can cause structural damage to your home. The quicker you take action against these pests, the better.
Do I need to wash everything after the treatment?
No, there is no need to wash utensils or surfaces once the treatment is carried out.
My child suffers from asthma. Is it safe to stay?
To avoid triggering an asthma attack, we recommended that he/she is not present while the treatment is carried out, and preferably stays away from the premises at least 3 hours.
Do I need to empty my kitchen cupboards?
Yes, we suggest emptying the cupboards to allow for a thorough application.
Is my cat / dog safe?
Yes! There is no concern to the safety of your pets since the amount of active ingredient that they may come in contact with is very small.
Will I see cockroaches, spiders or ants after the treatment?
It is possible that insects may wander in from outside, but since we treat both inside and out, they will gradually reduce in number.
Will the spray you use stain my carpet?
No, the treatment will not harm or stain your carpet. It’s a water based residual spray that doesn’t contain strong solvents that may affect any finishes.
